leading lights of the corporate world are able to reveal their views on authenticity and its place and importance in the workplace

A panel of leading businesswomen are to discuss the subject of authenticity at a live event on Monday 25 January 2016. The event is hosted by London-based diversity and inclusion consultancy Voice At The Table whose primary focus is to support and represent women at all stages of their career.

The event is taking place at law firm Addleshaw Goddard, Milton Gate, 60 Chiswell Street, London, EC1Y 4AG, beginning at 6:00PM and finishing at 9:00PM.

The discussion will be led by six prestigious experts including Vanessa Vallely, founder of leading women’s network WeAreTheCity.

Vanessa is accomplished in the area of female representation in the workplace, having won various recognition awards such as Women’s Champion for Women in Banking and Finance, the Evening Standard’s Progress 1000 award and GQ Magazine’s Top 100 Most Connected Women in the UK.

Following an extensive and successful 25 year career in the banking and finance sector, Vanessa founded WeAreTheCity in 2008. WeAreTheCity is a website dedicated to providing information and services to help women develop themselves both personally and professionally. Its core aim is to support working women and offer an inclusive forum for women to learn and progress their careers. Alongside this, WeAreTheCity also celebrate the female pipeline with its Top 100 Rising Star Awards, which recognise emerging female talent across 20 industries.

Amongst these achievements, Vanessa is also the author of the book “Heels of Steel: Surviving and Thriving in the Corporate World” - a story tracking her career, complete with 13 chapters of tips to succeed in the workplace.

Moderating the discussion is Greg Young, co-founder and CEO of LeaderShape Ltd a leading business leadership development firm.

In recent years, Rina has been working on diversity and inclusion matters (D&I), including strategy development and initiatives. She has experience coaching and mentoring women across the board in corporate, not-for-profit and entrepreneurial sectors.
