Further investment in its well-established operations in India look set to leave a global specialist in mobile device automation solutions ideally placed to exploit worldwide growth opportunities.

First, Pervacio tripled the size of its Hyderabad-based development, engineering and management hub for the EMEA/Asia Pacific region. This was followed by the launch of its new Global Innovation Centre in Bangalore.

Pervacio’s original R&D facility was opened in Hyderabad in 2009 by K Taraka RamaRao, Minister for Information Technology with the Panchayati Raj Government of Telangana. Now, following expansion during the past six months, Pervacio has moved into bigger premises on the technology campus that’s home to host of hi-tech companies, including Microsoft and Google.

A 300-strong highly skilled team is employed in product development, quality assurance, product management, product engineering and sales support roles at the new 35,000 sq. ft. centre. The facility is also the base for Pervacio’s certification division.

The Global Innovation Centre will focus on the creative engineering of both new and existing products. Employing up to 50 engineers, it has the capacity to scale up its operation as Pervacio’s business grows. Along with state of the art testing facilities for prototyping hardware and developing the latest mobile technology, the Centre incorporates conferencing and training rooms.

Pervacio’s CEO Sanjay Kanodia believes that cutting edge technology will help keep the company at the forefront of the mobile technology supply chain. Renewed investment in facilities in India is part of Pervacio’s long-term strategic plan and is expected to deliver a step change in the company’s ability to innovate.

Sanjay said: “Our business expansion is driven by innovation. If we are to satisfy our customers’ challenging requirements and help them improve their business performance and boost return on investment, innovation must be our top priority.

“To do this, and take our business to the next level, we need to invest in highly skilled and talented people. In Hyderabad we are tapping into a technology community that has all the skill sets we need to grow our business by delivering additional benefits to our customers.
Bangalore provides the infrastructure to support our R&D ambitions and, importantly, potential customers and other high tech businesses operating in related industries are based there.”
