Stream’s IoT-X platform will provide an interface for the networks that Gaia Smart Cities plan to deploy, to which connected devices can be attached

Mobile World Congress, Barcelona – Stream Technologies, an advanced connectivity management platform will provide Gaia Smart Cities, an Indian start-up pioneering Internet of Things and smart cities solutions, with connectivity from its award winning IoT-X service to help enable a roll-out of a smart city network across India.

Stream Technologies’ award-winning IoT-X service, a connectivity enablement, management and billing platform (CMP), is designed for operators of cellular, satellite and low power networks. IoT-X is fast being adopted by established operators and new entrants into the machine-to-machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) sectors. IoT-X offers low cost, low risk connectivity management, facilitating IoT connectivity worldwide.

Gaia Smart Cities is pioneering IoT solutions and engaging in innovative smart cities solutions. Gaia is creating a nationwide low-power communication network allowing various IoT devices to connect to the internet. Stream’s IoT-X platform will provide an interface for the networks that Gaia Smart Cities plan to deploy, to which connected devices can be attached. With the new technology Gaia will help cities and citizens, the government, academia, and industries to design, develop and deploy products and solutions for interconnected and intelligent cities. Gaia Smart Cities will commence the deployment with three major cities - Delhi being one of the first.
