SuiteCRM - open source CRM for the world

Open source is in the application stack is an unstoppable force.”

Stirling, Scotland – The SuiteCRM project is delighted to announce the availability of a new add-on and integration store for the world's most popular open source Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application.

https://store.suitecrm.com will replace the current extensions directory effective of March 31st 2016.
The SuiteCRM project is excited that the store will be managed and curated by SugarOutfitters, the company behind the most successful extensions resource for SugarCRM, the proprietary CRM vendor.

The new store will give users of SuiteCRM access to extensions that have been created by the best developers and audited for integrity by SugarOutfitters staffers.

Greg Soper, CEO of SalesAgility, the company that drives the SuiteCRM project forward said “We fundamentally believe in the power of community within open source. The focus of the SuiteCRM project is to continue to produce one of the world's finest CRM applications, fit for the enterprise and the SMB. The focus of SugarOutfitters is to curate the highest quality extensions produced by the community of open source developers that supports the SuiteCRM project. It's the perfect marriage. We focus on the quality of the core application and SugarOutfitters focus on ecosystem quality. The winners are our customers and users.”

Jason Eggers, CEO of SugarOutfitters agrees. “We have experienced a significant uptick in demand for SuiteCRM extensions and we're very pleased to support the SuiteCRM project through the store. We believe that by curating the highest quality extensions that we guarantee will work, we will offer users of SuiteCRM a resource where they can find an extensive library of useful add-ons and integrations that they can trust.”

The SuiteCRM project recently announced that it had completed deals with six billion dollar plus enterprises in the last nine months indicating a shift by large organisations from proprietary vendors in the application stack to open source applications. Greg Soper believes that this is the beginning of a substantial movement that will eventually mirror the success of open source in the infrastructure stack. “Open source dominates the infrastructure world for the same reasons it will come to dominate applications. Price, security, robustness, richness of functionality, agility and speed of innovation are all benefits that customers know and trust in open source infrastructure and they're now shifting focus to their applications. Open source is in the application stack is an unstoppable force.”

The SuiteCRM project delivers enterprise-class CRM functionality to some of the world's largest companies and has a public commitment to being a completely open source project where every line of code published is and always will be open source.
