The night raised a grand total of £48,128 for the NSPCC, which will have a significant impact on the support that the charity is able to offer

The Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) held its 17th annual charity ball in aid of children’s charity, the NSPCC, on Friday 18rd November 2016 at The InterContinental Hotel in London. The Charity Ball was generously sponsored by First Choice Software.

The night raised a grand total of £48,128 for the NSPCC, which will have a significant impact on the support that the charity is able to offer vulnerable children and young people.

As always, the Charity Ball was themed, with this years’ guests transported to a Mexican fiesta, complete with mariachi band for an evening of fine food, drink and entertainment. Guests arrived to a champagne reception and after dinner enjoyed karaoke, a photo booth and themed fairground attractions including lassoing a cactus. All guests left with a Down Mexico Way themed goodie bag packed with donations.

Commenting on the event, APSCo CEO, Ann Swain, said:

“I’d like to thank everybody who attended this year’s Charity Ball for once again making the event a huge success. I’m sure you will agree that we all had a fantastic evening in aid of a very worthy cause.”

“The APSCo Annual Charity Ball is the jewel in the crown of our event calendar. In recent years our generous members have helped us to raise in excess of £1 million for the NSPCC charity – a sum that has no doubt helped change the lives of many vulnerable children and young people through its free, confidential 24-hour counselling service.”

“Thank you to all our guests, sponsors and donors, for digging deep and giving so generously. All money donated on the night will go directly to the NSPCC where I’m sure it will touch the lives of the children and young people who need it most. APSCo members should be incredibly proud of their ongoing contributions towards this absolutely vital service.”
