The first event of the East Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club’s season took place in Sewerby, where approximately 250 vehicles were on show. Abbey Rolls Hire has released a statement regarding the day.
Visitors were treated to an array of vintage cars, with a D reg Toyota Carina on display – one of just four left on Britain’s roads. The public spoke with car owners at the annual event at Sewerby Hall and Gardens. An MG MGA sports car was also at the village event.
Alex Birtwistle, chairman of the East Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club, said: “The event at Sewerby was excellent. It is one of our most popular events and it was a great way to start the new season.
“It is a lovely location with great facilities and we thoroughly enjoy being here each year. The public seem to enjoy the event also as we offer such a diverse range of vehicles so there really is something here for everyone.”
