UK based Internet of Things (IoT) security company, Copper Horse Solutions is to showcase its intelligent door technology at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week. The demonstrator will show connectivity with Twitter and Samsung’s SmartThings. A wide range of potential applications include helping to prevent rural theft by monitoring farms, smart city and home usage as well as protecting historical buildings. The technology can also be used for independent assisted living and for the detection of domestic violence.

Copper Horse has advised organisations including the GSMA on connected device security and decided to extend this to a secure IoT product of its own. Copper Horse CEO, David Rogers said “The intelligent door is just the start. Through our in-house motion project, we intend to extend our software, hardware and security expertise into IoT products which are focused on user needs”.
