- Company granted patent for OneScan authentication process
- New service aims to consign (forgotten) IDs and passwords to the past
UK start-up company Ensygnia confirmed today that, following an 18-month process, it had been granted its first technology patent by the UK Patent Office.
The company immediately announced it would be entering the market with its OneScan service – a series of authentication and transaction applications based on the patented process and built on Ensygnia encrypted QR (eQR) codes. The company said that the OneScan service marked the beginning of the end for multiple passwords and log-in credentials for anyone accessing Internet services or private networks.
