Sugardaddie.com, a dating website which attracts young women looking for affluent, older highflying men, has revealed that it took action last week to remove several profiles which were posing as ‘sugar daddies’ but in fact trying to recruit women as potential egg donors

The site was alerted after three concerned women reported the messages. The girls had been contacted by a male member who they thought was another attractive potential date, but was in fact working for an egg donor agency, thought to be UK based. The message was sent to 117 women – half of which were UK based. “Would you be interested being financially compensated as well as help a couple that is unable to have a child due to being infertile? Egg donors and receive financial compensation for their donation.” The message said.
