NEBOSH wins Queen’s Award for international trade success
Britain’s highest accolade for trade success has been bestowed on a vocational examination board that is raising health and safety standards around the world.
NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2014 for its “outstanding achievement” in international trade.
Leicester based NEBOSH’s suite of fifteen health, safety and environmental qualifications are delivered by over 600 accredited organisations around the world.
10 years ago, only around 5% of NEBOSH examinations were taken outside of the UK. By the end of 2013, well over 60% of all exams were taken by people overseas.
