VNU Business Publishing Europe (VNU BPE) - a division of VNU, a leading international media and information company - has reached an agreement for Global Media US to represent Ziff Davis Media's worldwide portfolio of technology publications to international clients seeking worldwide advertising opportunities in the US and Asia. This announcement follows the company's purchase of Ziff Davis's European magazines in UK, France and Germany in August 2000. This relationship between Ziff Davis and Global Media allows each organization to leverage its strengths. As part of the arrangement, Global Media US will invest in a sales operation in Taiwan to service the Asian markets representing Ziff Davis Media's worldwide portfolio, and strengthen its position in the US by opening a New York office, working closely with Ziff Davis Media's sales teams in the U.S.

VNU BPE recently made Global Media an autonomous division within VNU BPE as part of its increased focus on international sales and European research services. Now Global Media is entirely responsible for VNU BPE's international sales efforts in Europe, the US and Asia, and for European Research programs.
