Affinity Internet Holdings plc ("Affinity"), the UK's largest provider of
branded internet services and one of the fastest growing global internet,
e-commerce, telecoms and convergent billing companies, are exporting their
highly successful UK model to South Africa. The wholly-owned Johannesburg
based operation, Affinity Internet pty Ltd opening today will be
Affinity's
5th International office. The company already has offices in the UK,
Finland, Holland and Australia and can provide its services in Ireland,
the
Benelux countries and across Scandinavia.

Affinity also announced today its first client in South Africa, Absa Bank.
The Absa Group Limited, listed on the Securities Exchange, is South
Africa's
leading provider of banking and financial services and serves 6.9 million
retail customers alone. From the 5th February Absa will be offering
branded
internet access to all South Africans as part of their comprehensive,
long-term e-business strategy. Absa currently has more than 150,000 online
banking customers, about 33% of the market, and these numbers are growing
at
a rate of 90% a year.

Affinity has already successfully achieved over 150 branded VISP launches
with clients such as Egg, The Royal Bank of Scotland and the Skandia Life
Group and now has over 450 client agreements in place across the group
both
in the UK and Internationally.

Wayne Lochner, CEO of Affinity Internet Holdings plc says: "We feel the

subscription-free access in this market. South Africa is a growth market
