New fourth quarter customers include MasterCard and Onyx

LONDON, UK. Jan 30, 2001 Captura, a leader in automated payment processing systems for global companies, today announced it set records for total sales and single-quarter sales while forming strategic alliances with Intel Online Services, MasterCard and GE Capital in 2000. It also attracted major new investors, including Ford Motor Company, MasterCard and Hewlett-Packard, opened new offices in Sydney and Geneva and moved to a larger corporate headquarters in Kirkland, WA.

"This was our best year yet," CEO Dan Vetras said of the company, which was founded in 1994.
New Captura customers for 2000 include Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Bowstreet, Crompton, Discovery Communications, Givuadan, Hewlett-Packard, Jones Lang LaSalle, Labor Ready, Leo Burnett, Onyx, Primus, SEI, United Rentals and William Blair, increasing Captura's customer base to more than 55 companies, including many of the world's largest international corporations. Nearly 650,000 seats have now been sold by Captura, and its employee base also grew from 150 to 216 in 2000.

In a Summit Strategies report issued in January, 2001, Captura received high marks for its core technology, business model, customer base, investors and the strength of its strategic alliances. "Captura's powerful workflow engine, strong and diverse group of strategic partners and its growing list of blue-ribbon customers and investors are all working for the company," senior analyst Warren Wilson said.
