It also attracted major new investors, including Ford Motor Company, MasterCard and Hewlett-Packard, opened new offices in Sydney and Geneva and moved to a larger corporate headquarters in Kirkland, WA.

New Captura customers for 2000 include Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Bowstreet, Crompton, Discovery Communications, Givuadan, Hewlett-Packard, Jones Lang LaSalle, Labor Ready, Leo Burnett, Onyx, Primus, SEI, United Rentals and William Blair, increasing Captura's customer base to more than 55 companies, including many of the world's largest international corporations. Nearly 650,000 seats have now been sold by Captura, and its employee base also grew from 150 to 216 in 2000.
In a Summit Strategies report issued in January, 2001, Captura received high marks for its core technology, business model, customer base, investors and the strength of its strategic alliances.
