Hellraiser author to contribute two stories to celebrated on-line comic library
Sheffield, UK - 30th JANUARY 2001
"'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring, except for a disgusting minor demon trying desperately to steal your sanity and your soul."
Following contributions by high-profile comic book talent including Pat Mills, Kevin O'Neill and Simon Bisley, Clive Barker is the latest big name to be featured in the on-line story-store Cool Beans World. Already home to original work from some of the comic industry's most talented writers and artists, Cool Beans World is now proud to announce that it will be printing Barker's graphic novel 'The Yattering and Jack' on the Web for the first time.
Written by Barker, and lavishly painted by award-winning illustrator John Bolton, 'The Yattering and Jack' tells of a demon's attempts to capture the soul of a middle-aged pickle importer from London. It's the first of two planned collaborations between Barker, Bolton and Cool Beans World, a major work fantasy-fiction followed by the painted story "In the Hills, the Cities". See them all soon by logging onto www.coolbeansworld.com.
"We're delighted to be able to feature Clive Barker and John Bolton's work on Cool Beans World," said Creative Director, Nick Percival. "Our aim is always to feature exciting work from the comic industry's most talented writers and artists, and they don't get much more exciting than these guys."
