London, February 12, 2001 - Le Monde Interactif, publisher of the news
site, today announced an agreement with Qpass, the global
leader in digital commerce services, to enable the distribution and sale
of Le Monde Interactif's content and services on the Internet.

This agreement enables Le Monde Interactif to develop and offer innovative
premium digital products for sale to its online audience. In addition,
the global presence of Qpass will allow Le Monde Interactif to market its
content and services to French-speaking readers throughout the world.
