e-Carisma Announce eXpense

Reading, Berks - 19th February 2001, e-Carisma, a leading developer of
browser based business process solutions, today announced the launch of its
latest exciting new product, eXpense. eXpense is the most recent product to
join e-Carisma's comprehensive set of Application Service Provider (ASP)
ready business applications. Improving efficiency, eXpense eases the
headache of tracking, controlling and paying expenses within a company's

John McIntyre, Managing Director of e-Carisma, commented, "Generally staff
are more mobile these days and increasingly the modern worker is not based
in a static office, they maybe based at home and only come into an office
occasionally. e-Carisma developed eXpense to satisfy the requirements of
this workforce, paired with the needs of the corporation to provide clear
and controlled reimbursement policies".

eXpense is a solution from e-Carisma that enables an electronic system to
control all aspects of employee expenses, including cash advances,
itemised expense details, car mileage and hotel bills, through authorisation
and adjustment, and onto final payment.

eXpense has been developed to be browser based and ASP compliant. Companies
need only provide a suitable web access or Intranet connection to its users,
no other technical requirements need be met.

John McIntyre continued, "eXpense is a modern browser based employee
expenses application specifically designed for the 21st Century. It
provides a multi-level control system and is fully scalable. The product
design allows the business user to personalise the system to match their
corporate needs."

Euro compliance has been a major consideration in the design of eXpense.
While not yet a mandatory requirement, a number of companies consider the
Euro a vital element when implementing a new system and developing strategic
decisions involving business transactions in Europe.

Other features include:-

- Mileage, eXpense records detailed car mileage for each employee.

- Mileage rates, associated with engine capacity and business miles.

- Employee claims are associated with an authoriser

- Employees are emailed with payment advice.

- On completion of the claim form, claimants may print a hard copy

- Longevity of data, the system holds data on-line for 7 years.
