IP billing software vendor uni-X Software has hired former racing driver, Roger Orgee to develop sales of its OpenInformer product aimed at carriers, Internet Service Providers and corporate customers.

In his heyday, Roger ran his own race team, OmegaLand International and was responsible for winning the Formula 3000 championship in 1992 with frontman, Yvan Muller. Throughout his 12 year career, Roger attended race meetings across the World including Europe, South Africa and South America.

Roger has worked in IT sales for over 25 years having worked for both ICL and Atlantic Data Systems, and more recently Internet software house, The Knowledge Group in Bristol.

Roger is now retired from Formula 3000, but is still involved in the sport, helping to support and nurture his 12 year old son (also called Roger), who is entered into the UK Junior Karting Championship this year.

uni-X Software is looking to recruit further sales professionals this year.
