UK consumers of all ages are now being offered the chance to air their views on these and a range of other issues and products – and get rewarded for their opinions – through a newly launched online service called TrendScan from online market research agency EARSandEYES.

People of all ages who have access to the Internet can now earn redeemable Amazon and Gameplay vouchers by taking part in consumer surveys organised on behalf of a range of commercial organisations and industry bodies. Amazon is the UK’s leading online book retailer – Gameplay is Europe’s leading computer games portal.

Recently launched in the UK, TrendScan is actively recruiting willing participants to take part in its online surveys. By logging on to, anyone can register to take part in a range of surveys and discussion groups.

Registrants will be invited to voice their opinions on a variety of subjects. Each registrant will have an online account and will be awarded “Trendchips” for each question answered. When a registrant has 300 TrendChips (the equivalent of £9) they can cash them in for Amazon and Gameplay vouchers, which are then redeemable at and With these vouchers, TrendScouts can choose from thousands of books, computer games, CD’s, DVD’s and much more.

The concept has already proved hugely successful in Germany, with over 20,000 consumers regularly taking part in online surveys.
