(London: 8 March 2001) Quixa NetMedia today announces the programme of the seventh annual NetMedia conference on the media and the Internet.

NetMedia is the only European Internet conference devoted exclusively to examining how the Internet and new media technologies are changing journalistic practices. This annual event brings together leading media practitioners from the US and Europe to share their experiences and knowledge of current developments and offers hands-on training workshops so journalists can test drive the new technologies.

This Year’s NetMedia is spread over three days:

- Wednesday 4th July: Day-long programme of hands-on workshops in Computer-Assisted Reporting and Geographic Information Systems for journalists

- Thursday/Friday 5th & 6th July: Conference programme

- Venue: One Great George Street, Westminster, London SW1
