Partnership with CMG Admiral Fine-Tunes Financial Focus,Ensures Informed Mobility

XcelleNet Inc., the leading provider of management solutions for remote systems and mobile devices today announced its strategic partnership with CMG Admiral, a global Information & Communications Technology consultancy. Afaria, XcelleNet’s software solution for managing applications and content over laptop and other mobile devices, and RemoteWare, the company’s remote systems management tool, will be provided by CMG Admiral as part of an integrated CRM solution to leading financial organisations including Barclays Life and Sun Life Financial of Canada. The partnership enables these companies to reduce the costs and increase the efficiency of remote computing and mobile working.

CMG Admiral Director of Financial Services, Ken McCarthy, said, “The financial sector has always been an early adopter of technological solutions, and rightly so when technology-savvy financial customers are demanding increased and diverse access to information. It’s inevitable that a financial provider should need to both cultivate and reflect the progressiveness of its customers ”

Currently, an installed base of over 1000 users benefit from RemoteWare and Afaria’s integration into CMG Admiral’s PAS (Professional Advisor System – for direct sales force) and PIAS (Professional Independent Advisor System – for mobile IFAs) solution. Users benefit from continuous information updates, such as new fact-finds, product recommendations, sales leads, appointments, and specific needs analysis for customers.

The solution ensures accurate two-way communication through remote synchronisation features that allow laptop-based consultants to upload this information, even when off-line. Similarly, any data held centrally - such as new leads and appointments - can be made available to the user when he or she next synchronises.

XcelleNet Senior Vice President & Managing Director, Bob Apollo, said, “Essentially, what we’re providing is informed mobility. Now you don’t have to be in the office to be in the know. Independent Financial advisors can be automatically kept up-to-date whether off or online, to the great benefit of not themselves but also their customers. Gartner projects that the laptop and mobile device market will increase by 350% over the next few years. Manageability of these remote and mobile devices is becoming an increasingly critical issue – an issue that can be resolved through integrated solutions like those delivered by CMG Admiral. We are very excited by the potential this partnership offers.”

McCarthy concludes, “In recognition of market predictions, we have begun to diversify the marketing of these solutions to clients who are becoming increasingly responsive to the mobile age, and I see XcelleNet as an intergral part of our continued growth.”
