Work with Oxbridge prior to the formal agreement has focussed on Malaysia and Singapore and has already resulted in reaching agreement with leading Singapore mobile operator, Mobile One. Users can now use Bango Numbers from the M1 portal "Mi World", thus Bango enabling content for this fast growing, youth Orientated WAP portal. This is a major step in the establishment of the Singapore franchise, which has immediate access to over 800,000 subscribers and forms a strong base for expansion in the region.

The franchise network

The Bango Asian franchise network is expected to cover twelve countries and over 120 million subscribers by the end of 2002. provides the powerful and reliable technology infrastructure to deliver users to mobile Internet sites, and ensures seamless worldwide operation of the service across WAP, iMode, PC, and iDTV terminals.
