CSC's Managed Clients to Receive Support for Mission Critical

HOUSTON - (March 26, 2001)- BMC Software, Inc. [NYSE: BMC], the leading
provider of e-business systems management, today announced a five year
global licensing agreement with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) [NYSE:
CSC], one of the world's leading consulting and IT services firms, to
support its clients' growth and service demands. Under the terms of the
agreement signed in December 2000, CSC will have the ability to globally
deploy BMC Software's service level management solutions to its clients.
These solutions support mission critical applications for CSC's Global
Infrastructure Services Group (GIS) and all other CSC business units in
support of their managed clients.

The use of BMC Software's solutions will enhance CSC's availability of
complex applications, overall systems availability and offer end-to-end
management of e-business transactions. BMC Software solutions will
