BusinessesForSale.com launches referral network for companies valued over
£1m.

The world's leading website for buying and selling businesses,
BusinessesForSale.com (www.BusinessesForSale.com), has launched a free
referral service to assist the sale of businesses valued over £1m. After
completing the form located in the Sell Your Business page, a
representative
from BusinessesForSale will subsequently contact the business owner to
discuss appropriate mergers and acquisitions advisory firms to assist in
the
sale of their business.

The referral service will guide business owners through the myriad of
investment banks, corporate finance boutiques, accounting firms and
high-end
business brokers using the extensive network of pre-screened advisory
assembled by BusinessesForSale. The advisor's role is then to help the
seller value their business, produce a sales memorandum, market it to
buyers, structure the transaction and assist in the negotiation of the
sale
and purchase agreements.

The service is free to business owners and is being rolled out in the UK,
USA, South Africa, Canada and Australia. BusinessesForSale receives a
commission based on the advisor's eventual fee and because these fees are
success related, BusinessesForSale is strongly incentivised to introduce
advisors who are able to achieve a quick sale and good price for their
client.

Jonathan Shaw, Business Development Director of BusinessesForSale states:
"A good advisor can make a huge difference to the price an owner achieves
when they sell their business. Since most entrepreneurs only sell a
business
once, they don't necessarily know the best people to speak to. That's
where
we can help. Through our huge network of over 800 advisory firms across
the
world, we can quickly pull together a shortlist of up to three qualified
firms to introduce to the vendor. They can then make the final choice".

BusinessesForSale.com lists over 12,000 enterprises for sale in over 70
countries. The total value of companies listed exceeds £3 billion. The
website evolved from a print magazine "Businesses and Premises for Sale"
and
after raising £1.7 million from private investors, the site was launched
in
May 2000..
