They are Andrew Durrant, Glyn Prosser and Ursula Krause. According to chief executive Joel Jervis, 'We announced earlier in the year that we were embarking on a major expansion to coincide with the launch of the latest version of our Orbita Business Messaging software. These appointments are the latest of many which are strengthening our team in our chosen areas of focus. 'Ursula Krause's appointment as account manager in Germany adds significant strength to our German sales team and further enhances our commitment to OpenTrade clients. Ursula's experience in application sales and support to the financial services industry suits her ideally to the role of account managing many of our prestigious customers. Their backgrounds are impeccable - Andrew's long experience in trading rooms is invaluable as this is our primary market with Orbita while Glyn's 20 years of managing the channel is key to our partnership program.’ Andrew Durrant Andrew Durrant has joined OpenTrade to take responsibility for developing new business sales in the City of London. Andrew has some 18 years experience in the trading room environment. From 1997 to 2000, Andrew was a Senior Dealer and Assistant Manager with Daiwa Securities Trust and Banking (Europe) plc. where he was responsible for setting up a 24-hour dealing desk and the execution of business across different time zones. From 1994 to 1996, Andrew was with Westpac Banking Corporation as Senior Spot Yen and Deutschmark Trader. Prior to this, he held a similar position at the Main Spot Desk in Fuji Bank in London. Andrew has also held senior positions at the vice-president and assistant vice-president level at the Bank of New York, First Interstate Bank of California, and Irving Trust Company. Aged 40, Andrew is married with 2 children. He is a qualified football coach and qualified athletics coach. Glyn Prosser Glyn Prosser has joined OpenTrade to take responsibility for building and managing its partner channel throughout Northern Europe. Having had some 20 years experience working within the IT channel business, his experience with manufacturers, distributors and partners brings a wealth of experience to OpenTrade in growing its channel business. Before joining OpenTrade Glyn was with business intelligence software supplier CorVu where he had a similar role in growing their channel. Prior to that Glyn held roles with Fujitsu Siemens Computers and Northamber plc where he headed the Hewlett Packard Systems Division overseeing the implementation of the HP build to order facility. The combination of hardware and software experience within the channel will help OpenTrade to build the correct relationships with its existing and new partners to grow its business. Ursula Krause Ursula Krause has joined OpenTrade in the role of Account Manager. Previously, Ursula was employed as a Senior Business Consultant with SunGard Data Systems in London, where she was responsible for the implementation of an e-brokerage system covering front to back office operations and order routing. Before that, Ursula was with Excelsis Information Systeme GmbH, of Stuttgart, as a consultant. Projects she was involved with included putting together simulation environments for the e-commerce arena and extending internet banking capabilities.
