London-based Application Service Provider (ASP) and e-services company, iDesk pIc, today announced that Lexicon, a provider of electronic print and mail solutions, has signed an agreement to resell ebillity, iDesk’s innovative Electronic Bill Presentation and Payment (EBPP) software. This partnership will bring cost effective and leading edge e-billing capabilities within reach of all UK businesses.
Aimed at all corporate billing organisations, including utilities, telcos, financial services companies and Internet service providers (ISPs), ebillity is a hosted, high performance Internet billing solution which enables corporate billers to reduce overheads, enhance customer service levels and increase revenues through cross-selling and up-selling additional services to their customers.
ebillity fits strategically into Lexicon’s overall CRM offering. This partnership gives Lexicon a readily affordable, EBPP option for customers. Lexicon’s EBPP clients can save up to 75% of their traditional paper based billing overheads and eliminate the need for costly payment processing systems. As a result, Lexicon will now be able to offer clients a migration path towards multi-channel payment services delivery, helping them to manage the process of moving from conventional print and mail to true e-commerce functionality at their own pace. Lexicon expects the addition of EBPP capability to lead to enhanced customer retention and provide them with a competitive edge over other print and mail operations.
