xstreammedia brings eCRM solutions within the reach of SMEs
With the recent launch of its eCRM solution XeRM xstreammedia has turned the popular perception of expensive, complex CRM implementations on its head. XeRM, which was launched in late February, is aimed at small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). The solution is wizard driven and is able to integrate with most existing databases via its Visual Data Script Engine (VDSE) removing the need for costly integration projects and making the system quick and easy to deploy.
The innovative VDSE module ensures that customer knowledge held within disparate databases in all customer facing departments such as marketing, sales and customer support can be amalgamated easily allowing any member of staff speaking to customers to have instant access to the latest information on that customer. Customer information is synchronised across all communication channels, so no matter how the customer contacts the company; telephone, web site, fax, letter or email, they will receive a personalised service.
Although UK SMEs have the highest adoption rate for some form of e-commerce within Europe according to research from the DTI, 59% of all e-commerce transactions are abandoned before completion. XeRM highlights to customer support staff when a potential customer on the website is having trouble, for instance filling in a form, enabling them to speak to the customer via the same dial-up link, or have a web chat dialogue, and so give instant help.
Tony Russell, new media and marketing director at xstreammedia explained, “Many SMEs read about the high profile CRM implementations, many of which have not been successful, and assume that CRM is for large companies with big budgets. In XeRM we have a manageable system aimed specifically at SMEs which will enable them to make the most of the customers they have as well as attracting new ones. Those SMEs with high levels of traffic on their websites will benefit from our Virtual Agent software which demonstrably converts browsers into buyers, by offering proactive help whenever the browser is having difficulty.”
