Medical Money Management, leading financial advisors to the medical profession, has cleared its network problems by using software delivered through Application Service Provider (ASP) Netstore, under a deal initiated and brokered by Deverill.

MMM employs over 100 people at its offices in Liverpool, Birmingham, Glasgow, Bristol, Exeter, Manchester and Sheffield. The company helps doctors, dentists and other professionals organise their financial affairs. MMM staff communicated using Microsoft Exchange through the head office router in Liverpool, sometimes leading to network congestion.

According to Iain McKie, MMM's financial manager 'We wanted a more sophisticated communications system, but we didn't want to buy lots of new kit, manage the system or support it ourselves. We wanted to manage our IT, but not recruit an IT manager! We thought we were asking the impossible until Deverill came up with the solution.'

'As we already had Exchange and our users were familiar with it, we were naturally very interested when Deverill suggested we consider NetStore's hosted Exchange offering. We looked at other solutions, but as soon as we dug beneath the surface a bit, they were all revealed as not only more expensive, but also falling short of the range and quality of service that together NetStore and Deverill could demonstrate.'
