London, 17 April 2001 - Networks telecom 2001 (1), the event for networks and networked solutions for IT, telecoms and the Internet are happy to announce that the ASP Industry Consortium will be the exclusive endorsing Association of the ASP Zone at Networks Telecom.
ASPic is the international advocacy group formed to promote the application service provider (ASP) industry by sponsoring research, promoting best practices, and articulating the measurable benefits of this evolving delivery model. Its goals include educating the marketplace, developing common definitions for the industry, as well as serving as a forum for discussion and sponsoring research. The Consortium’s endorsement of the ASP zone highlights its aims and fits perfectly with its goals for the ASP industry.
Jane Murphy, Portfolio Director for Networks telecom enthused: "We are delighted to have the exclusive backing of ASPic at Networks telecom 2001. The ASP Zone will enable visitors to discover what ASPs have to offer from basic applications such as email and MS Office, through to the more complex applications such as enterprise resourcing planning systems and customer relationship management systems."
Along with the ASP zone, Networks telecom 2001 will comprehensively present the architecture of the ‘networks future’ by featuring all of the industry’s key issues under one roof. Visitors will be able to optimise their time by visiting specific focus areas and features on the show floor. These areas will help visitors drill-down to their specific niche area and quickly locate suppliers and partners that fit their business needs.
The event, which takes place from 26-28 June 2001 at Birmingham NEC, will focus on many industry hot topics, including the all-business-critical ASP issue.
