Peterborough based Fortum O&M (UK) Ltd, providers of operations and maintenance services for power stations have chosen to implement BasWare’s e-Flow PIP software within their organisation. e-Flow PIP is a web browser based workflow system used for purchase invoice processing.
BasWare’s e-Flow PIP will be used in their two of their sites in the UK, at the Grangemouth Power Station in Scotland and additionally within Fortum’s energy engineering subsidiary, Fortum Engineering (UK) Ltd. BasWare will work in conjunction with UK implementation partner Sentient (www.sentient.co.uk) to deliver this project.

This deal is a significant opening for BasWare UK Ltd in the UK market and strengthens BasWare’s vision in becoming a leading e-procurement and e-billing software vendor in Europe.
BasWare’s e-Flow product line includes software solutions for e-procurement, purchase invoice processing and electronic statement presentment and supports the complete requisition to payment process within an organisation. In Finland, BasWare have recently launched an Internet based service, myeflow.com, for sales invoice processing.
BasWare is listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange (HEX.) With offices in the UK, Finland, Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands, BasWare plan to continue their rapid international expansion during the next few years.
