THEALE, 26 April 2001 - Graphics board and internet
vendor ELSA has dropped the price of its flagship GeForce3 chip based
GLADIAC 920 board from £459.99 to £349.99 inc VAT.

Elsa's UK managing director Fiona Faulkner commented,
"People want to get their hands on this board because they have heard
its impressive performance in the press and through the online gaming
community. To date, the price meant it was only accessible to hard-core
gamers and developers. We have now made it more affordable for the
mainstream gamer."

The latest price change is just part of ELSA's concerted
drive to take the lead in the UK graphics board market with a
combination of
latest chip technology, aggressive pricing and communications programmes
raise awareness of the ELSA brand among gamers. In March the company
announced its eXtreme promotional campaign to reach PC gamers, which
included sponsorship of the CPL (Cyberathletes Professional League,)
European on line games championship.
