Ability to search the 60,000+ daily postings on the UK’s top job portals
with one ‘click’ will ease the job-hunting process and
revolutionise the online job market

Scandinavian news giant, Sondagsavisen A/S, is shaking up the UK’s lucrative £272 million* online recruitment market this week with the launch of www.ClickAJob.co.uk, a powerful search engine that enables job seekers to scan, in one fell swoop, the 60,000+ jobs posted each day on the UK’s top job portals and view the results in one user-friendly interface.

Launched amidst much controversy, ClickAJob’s Founder, Yngve Traberg, said, “Our mission is to create improved transparency in the job market and to ease the recruitment process for both job seekers and employers alike. ClickAJob will achieve this by bringing all the jobs from the UK’s important job sites into one place, resulting in the largest searchable job database in the UK. It will enable job seekers to search across a multitude of career sites with one click – a major benefit when there are 250 individual online job boards out there. ClickAJob will revolutionise the way people search for jobs online.”

Job hunters will also benefit from the ‘Job Agent’, an advanced e-lert service that keeps registered candidates posted about new and suitable job opportunities via e-mail.

Setting a new precedent in candidate confidentiality, ClickAJob has also made the decision to keep the CVs of its registered ‘members’ entirely private, with the detailed CV database only accessible by personnel working for ClickAJob as job placement agents. “We believe that in the current employment market, only a certain segment of employees are prepared to put detailed career descriptions online”, explains Yngve. “A number of our competitors allow employers to roam CV databases, but we are confident that our approach will encourage high calibre candidates to sign up.”

Asked how employers will benefit, Yngve explained, “ClickAJob will act as an Application Service Provider (ASP), enabling a direct connection between employers and employees and allowing companies to manage their entire staffing requirements with ease.”

Once a job has been posted on the ClickAJob site, clients can use the ‘HR Portal Control Panel’ to view the status of each vacancy posted, edit job descriptions and add new jobs, whilst a ‘Job Statistics Screen’ enables them to monitor the number of hits any particular advertisement has received. ClickAJob’s unique ‘HR Portal’ will create a dynamic link from the ClickAJob site to the client’s personal recruitment web pages. If amendments are made to a job or a new position is posted on ClickAJob, these changes are immediately duplicated on the client’s web site.

Yngve concludes, “Our rates are also extremely competitive at just £75 per advertised job per month - compare that with the £150-£1,600 charged by other online agencies! Companies interested in trying us out can also take advantage of the three months free trial.”
