Tarantella Inc, Announces Enterprise 3, Starter for Linux – Compelling New Entry Into Enterprise 3 Technology

SANTA CRUZ, Calif.–May 8, 2001–Tarantella, Inc., (Nasdaq: SCOC transitioning to TTLA), has announced Tarantella Enterprise 3, Starter for Linux. Harnessing the power and reliability of Linux systems and the convenience of the Internet, Enterprise 3 Starter for Linux can publish any Windows, Web, Java, mainframe, AS/400, Linux and UNIX application securely to client devices worldwide. Its non-intrusive and flexible architecture applies the advanced, industry-proven Enterprise 3 technology to small workgroups and departments and is the foundation for a low-maintenance, centralised IT strategy.

This includes session shadowing, advanced drive mapping, enhanced printing support and the much-loved Tarantella Object Manager administration interface.
