Today NEC Corporation and UniTree Software Inc. announced an agreement under which NEC will resell
the advanced storage management HSM solutions from UniTree on LINUX platforms for the High
Performance Computing market. The co-operation also includes services agreement to provide
customers with flexible maintenance and solution oriented support in the field.
Under the agreement, NEC Corporation will resell the UniTree range of virtual online storage
solutions. The two companies will work together to develop and support Linux-based HSM
(Hierarchical Storage Management) solutions and provide customers with full service and support.
