today announced that the two companies have merged to provide the first
global voice application network which brings the power of the Internet
and voice technologies to the telephone, improving how people place calls
and how businesses answer their phones. Now companies can make
sophisticated voice applications such as personalised voice dialling,
stock trading, airline reservations and general information services
available to callers in both the U.S. and Europe.
