Qpass, the global leader in digital commerce services, has established a local office for the
German speaking countries near Frankfurt am Main.

Qpass, a global leader in digital commerce services, today announced it has established a local
office for the German speaking countries near Frankfurt am Main. This announcement both reinforces
the company's European focus, and strengthens its presence in the German market. According to a
recent survey by Jupiter MMXI, the European e-commerce market will increase eightfold by the year
2005 with a total expected revenue of 64 billion Euros. Jupiter also estimates that German
e-commerce revenues will grow to 18 billion Euros in the same time. (Source: Jupiter MMXI, European
Online Consumer Spending by Country 1999-2005).

"The German market is an extremely important one for us. By building a presence in Germany, we are
continuing our growth into the European market, as well as recognising the need to be as near to
our customers as possible. " comments Bill Barnard, Managing Director, Qpass Europe.

Since its launch in Europe last year, Qpass has seen growing demand for digital commerce solutions
and services. "The Qpass solution makes it cost-effective for any company to generate revenue by
enabling their customers to buy easily over any network device," Barnard summarises.

The German branch office is located in Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt am Main and is headed up by Rolf
Perschbacher as the Qpass Country Manager, who will be responsible for the German speaking
countries of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Perschbacher brings a wealth of e-commerce experience into this role and is extremely optimistic
about the company's presence in Germany: "In Europe we are seeing as much interest in our service
as in the United States where we have been established since 1997. With the implementation of local
European offices, we can provide an even better and faster service, extending our lead over
competitors not only with respect to products and technology, but also with high levels of service
and support."
