- Completes formation of Senior Management Team

London, England – May 23rd 2001 – SRC Telecom, the telephony speech recognition arm of SRC (The Speech Recognition Company) has announced four senior appointments to its management team. The announcement comes as SRC Telecom launches a range of consulting, application development and hosting services for telephony speech recognition.

SRC Telecom develops and delivers telephony based speech recognition solutions for companies wishing to improve customer service or offer new speech based information and transaction services. SRC Telecom also hosts services in an ASP (Application Service Provider) environment, reducing the entry costs and risks for organisations using this service.

Dr. Neil Bowers joins SRC as Head of Development, leading SRC’s company-wide Development group. Neil is responsible for the development and maintenance of SRC’s speech solutions and will spearhead the creation of custom telephony applications. Prior to joining SRC, Neil was General Manager of R&D Operations with Cannon Research Europe, and was previously Vice President Software Development at US developer Khoral Research.

Kenton Sanmogan has joined SRC Telecom as Head of Consulting and Solutions, managing the company’s product development strategy and SRC’s consulting and professional services activities, Kenton will also oversee pre-sales engineering. Previously he was Implementation Director for Commerce One, a Principal Consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Head of Professional Services for Nortel Network’s Asia Division.

Clive McDaid has been appointed Head of Projects, having previously held the position of Project Manager with SRC. In this role, Clive provides end-to-end customer project management, from initial project requirement capture to successful hosted service launch. His previous experience includes various project management positions with Centrefile and ADP, with a particular emphasis on time-critical delivery of projects.

Ian Winn has joined SRC Telecom as Operations Manager, responsible for hosting platform operations, relationships with carriers and management of the customer helpdesk. Ian most recently worked with Concert Communications (AT&T & BT) as manager of Interactive Voice Response (IVR) platforms, and previously held a variety of technical positions at Cable & Wireless.
