Leeds, England - May 23rd 2001 – Eyretel, the UK's leading customer experience management specialist, is to adopt a new project management tool, Hydra, from The Program Management Group (PMG) to better control its key IT product development programmes. The £50,000 agreement follows a trial of PMG’s Hydra system, which has been shown to provide an excellent ‘real world’ view of every aspect of the development process. Developers at Eyretel will be implementing Hydra for all programmes, with phase one - 50% of the organisation on line – already complete.
Outlining the reasons for selecting PMG’s Hydra system, David Johnson, Head of Product Development at Eyretel, said; “Eyretel is a fast growing company and a key element for us is keeping tight control over the increasing number of critical development programmes. Our previous system just didn’t give the control we needed.
