The company has appointed a new Financial Director who is expected to take iOra to an Initial Public Offering (IPO), as well as two new sales people for its Major Accounts Sales Divisions. iOra has more than doubled its revenues each quarter averaged over the past 2 years, signing up a wide range of enterprise customers including Shell and GlaxoSmithKline. Ian Sandbach, appointed as Financial Director for iOra, has been working for the last three years in an International role for a leading NASDAQ quoted software house. Responsible for seven subsidiaries across Europe with a turnover of $60m, Sandbach has proven experience working both in the software environment and within large-scale financial operations. At Merant, Sheppard was also responsible for selling Year 2000 solutions in Europe, South America and Africa, where her travels included crossing several war territories.
