Insight for Dial Access, a member of Trinagy’s Insight PlusÔ performance management suite, provides insight into the activity and status of wholesale provider-class dial-access services through a combination of datapipes, solution-specific reports, and TREND®, Trinagy’s network repository and database engine. Trinagy’s Insight for Dial Access solution with Call Detail Reporting directly imports industry-standard RADIUS call-accounting records from RADIUS clients or servers using the Trinagy datapipe developed IEA Software. It delivers that information in a report that focuses on key statistics such as per-call disconnect cause, call duration, user information, assigned IP addresses, calling number, called number and more – with no network performance impact. Since most dial-in Network Access Server (NAS) devices support the RADIUS protocol, the information available to Insight for Dial Access customers is robust and complete. With this data, service providers can meet their service level agreements, provide usage reports to their customers and bill appropriately.
