First Identrus Compliant Digital Signature Messaging System to work with iPlanet E-Commerce Solutions and ValiCert transaction co-coordinators

Entegrity Solutions® Corp., a leader in access management and application security software and services, today announced delivery of Entegrity TSP 2.0™ for the Identrus system. By supporting the latest Transaction Coordinator (TC) message standards, Entegrity TSP™ enables Identrus member financial institutions and their corporate clients to quickly and cost-effectively integrate B2B e-commerce applications with the Identrus trust infrastructure. Identrus LLC is headquartered in New York and currently has 45 of the world’s leading financial institutions as members. Identrus is the world’s leading provider of identity trust for B2B e-commerce.

Entegrity TSP 2.0 is a Digital Signature Messaging System (DSMS) solution that Identrus has certified as interoperable with transaction coordinators (TCs). TSP 2.0 has successfully completed testing with the two leading Identrus transaction coordinators; iPlanet’s Trustbase Transaction Manager and ValiCert’s Transaction Authority and with certificate validation services from multiple vendors. Together these components allow Identrus member financial institutions to offer trade facilitation services such as secure payment to their corporate customers.

Six of the largest banks in the world have already deployed Entegrity TSP and several of the world’s largest systems integrators have become Entegrity partners, to capitalize on the capabilities of Entegrity TSP 2.0, to manage identity validation and communication within the Identrus infrastructure.

"We have been working closely with Entegrity Solutions to create Identrus enabled applications for our corporate customers," said Andy Ross, group director for e-commerce and Internet at Royal Bank of Scotland. "Entegrity TSP has helped us to be the first UK bank to come to market with Identrus applications and we recently completed our first live end-to-end transactions."

Developed to Identrus specifications, Entegrity TSP 2.0 speeds Identrus application development by managing message flows to and from the Identrus Relying Participant. The result is a faster and simpler integration with the Identrus infrastructure, leading to a quicker realisation of all its e﷓commerce business benefits.

"Interoperability of Identrus Compliant DSMS and TC solutions from our solution providers is a key element in the Identrus B2B e-commerce model and Entegrity has provided one of the first DSMS solutions to fully support the Identrus transaction coordinator infrastructure we have established with our solution providers," said Kristin Kupres, chief operating officer for Identrus LLC. "Several of our member financial institutions have already successfully implemented Entegrity TSP 2.0 in their TC-based environments.”

The Identrus infrastructure enables trading partners around the world, through their Identrus-member financial institutions, to conclusively identify one another over the Internet and ensure their transactions are legally binding. Entegrity TSP 2.0 allows B2B e-commerce applications to take advantage of these services to manage risk in global transactions.

"ValiCert is delighted that we have been able to show live interoperability between our Transaction Authority and Entegrity TSP 2.0 over the Internet," said Sathvik Krishnamurth, vice president of marketing and business development for ValiCert (NASDAQ: VLCT). “This validates the end-to-end Identrus service model and will give our Financial Institution customers confidence that the technology platforms are ready to deploy.”

"The proven interoperability of Entegrity's TSP product with the iPlanet Trustbase Transaction Manager helps open the market for Identrus service deployment." said Shabber Jaffer, general manager of the iPlanet e-Commerce Solutions Trustbase product group. "Financial Institutions that are moving to deploy their trade facilitation services using the Trustbase product now know there is a complete solution available for rapid application integration at the corporate level."

Entegrity is working with iPlanet and Valicert to enable secure payments and the validation of documents and messages within the Identrus scheme.

“Entegrity is partnering with the leading Transaction Coordinator vendors to insure interoperability to drive global B2B e-commerce,” said Joel Silberman, vice president for business development of Entegrity. “Entegrity TSP 2.0 demonstrates our commitment to current Identrus standards and we intend to further that commitment to include future services such as Eleanor Payments.”

Entegrity TSP 2.0 is now generally available.
