This year’s Online Information show at Olympia is already lining up its most comprehensive array of
conference themes in the event’s twenty-five year history.

Speakers will be flying in from around the world to discuss a wide variety of contemporary issues that will be
of interest to both visitors and participants alike.

Online information is the largest show of its kind in the world and brings together the best minds in the industry
with the companies that are at the forefront of the latest technological developments.

Two of the first topics to be announced are a detailed analysis of e-journals and an essential guide to
managing information.

The look at e-journals will include user requirements and expectations, emerging e-book formats, access
requirements, providing added value and the latest e-journal portals. It will also cover a detailed strategy on
managing multimedia journals.

The discussion on managing information will target the understanding of the information supply chain,
procurement processes, data protection, pricing issues and the most recent developments in European and
US legislation. The speakers will also voice opinions on the wide array of database management systems.

Event Director Katherine Allen says: “These are just the first couple of themes to be finalised. In the next few
weeks we will be highlighting many more topics including information literacy, new technologies for content
delivery and e-government. We are determined that our silver jubilee will feature the widest selection of
resources ever offered at Online Information.”

There are expected to be over 350 exhibitors at the event on the 4-6th December, with around 15,600
