London, 22.06.01 : Deverill, one of the UK's leading computer systems and services companies, today announced that it will deploy 'NetworkIT, a remote management software tool from Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA), one of the world's foremost eBusiness software leaders, in its Network Operation Centre.

Deverill is one of the first partners to be appointed in the UK by CA to its Managed Services Provider Programme, allowing resellers the ability to offer remote network management services to their clients. The programme enables any sized organisation access to the benefits offered by the type of network management tools commonly utilised by large businesses which, until now, have been too costly for smaller businesses.

"More and more companies throughout Europe, (possibly as many as 20 million according to some research) are seeking to reduce their overheads by integrating in-house IT expertise with managed support", said Tony Fisher, General Sales Manager at Deverill. CA's NetworkIT provides Deverill with the capacity to address potential problems or issues, before they impact the daily business of a client. In most cases, Deverill will be able to resolve a problem remotely, transparent to the end user.
