BOULDER, Colorado, (June 26, 2001) — Athene Software Inc., a leading provider of intelligent customer relationship management (iCRM™) software, has appointed François Lestini as General Manager EMEA of its European operations. He will be based at Athene’s EMEA office in Guildford, UK, and will drive the company’s European sales and servicing of existing accounts.

Lestini joins Athene from France Telecom Mobiles where he was Director of Customer Services for international operations for six years. His responsibilities included developing and launching customer service initiatives for 32 international operator subsidiaries. Prior to that he worked with Visa, and spent 15 years working for American Express. Lestini has a DESS in Social Law, a Masters Degree in Applied Foreign Languages and speaks six languages.
