Leading IT solutions and services provider Deverill has restructured following a year of unprecedented growth, in order to reflect changes in the Value Added Reseller channel.
Deverill's UK general manager Tony Fisher explains, 'Our performance exceeded Compaq's annual targets by some 15 per cent in the fiscal year just ended, and we have over performed significantly again in the last quarter. This is one of the main reasons we have reorganised our sales and account management structure to mirror that of the vendors we support like Compaq and HP.'
Deverill is now structured into teams responsible for New Business Sales, Account Management and Business Support Services.
Deverill believes the new structure will enable it to reach its corporate target of a 45 per cent increase in business in the coming year and allows the company to interface more effectively with Compaq and other suppliers who have a similar structure in place.
'We are continuing to recruit, especially at the senior sales level,' says Tony Fisher and we are also changing to reflect the new technologies that have impacted the channel over the past year. For example, we were the first UK reseller to sign with Netstore for the delivery of software via the ASP model, and have recently opened a brand new Network Operations Centre from where we provide remote network management services to our clients throughout the UK.'
