Opticom, Inc. announces its launch into Europe with an extensive channel network in place and new offices in France, Germany and the UK. The timing of the official launch marks the introduction of Opticom's flagship iView 3.0 that detects, diagnoses and resolves e-service management problems. Opticom's European operations correspond with the growing trend for consolidation, central management and business analysis of networks to enable more efficient business service delivery. Opticom, Inc. is the leading provider in the delivery of automated service management intelligence.

"Those of us involved with enterprise networks day-in-day-out know what a medley of systems are out there making up the communications backbone of UK enterprise. ISPs are in a similar position, trying to ensure that they can deliver a consistent service over the existing networks," commented Tony Williams, Hewlett Packard SSO UK channel manager. "There's a glaring need for something like Opticom's iView to make sense of what's going on at a technical level and translate it into the impact that it has on your business. We're delighted to expand our partner program to include Opticom."

John Morency, senior vice president of marketing at Opticom, said: "The demand for iView from Europe underlines that we are making this move not a moment too soon. We are keenly aware of the growing market for business-level network management in Europe. We also see the need for integrating this business-level network management with the telecoms' infrastructure and look forward to addressing this need throughout Europe."

Opticom's existing European customers include BBC, Source Networks and Coles-Myer. Its flagship solution, iView 3.0, is a highly scalable, modular product suite that provides complete end-to-end service management for service providers and enterprises.

The iViewTM 3.0 Application Suite

The iView 3.0 suite of applications contains considerable advances in product architecture, functionality and features. The suite is comprised of seven modules, which can be purchased separately and bundled in a variety of configurations to suit each customer's requirements. iView creates a holistic view of the services being managed across the entire network so that businesses can retrieve information quickly in a format that makes it easy to both identify and resolve potential problems.
