Guildford, Surrey, July 12th 01: Wick Hill is now shipping the latest version of Reflection for the Web (4.5), WRQ's centrally managed solution that provides secure web-based terminal emulation for host systems across the enterprise.
Version 4.5 provides significant improvements for HP and IBM host access. New IBM emulation features, particularly in the area of printing, bring Reflection for the Web up to the level most IBM users would expect. These new features, combined with the product's superior speed and ease-of-use, make Reflection for the Web a powerful competitor for IBM's Host on Demand.
In the HP market, new features include passthrough printing, which gives users control over local or host printing, and host initiated RCL commands, a feature already available to users of Reflection for HP. Reflection for the Web is still the only web-based emulation solution for the HP 3000.
