- New Professional Services Manager was PMG’s first customer

Leeds, England – July 17 2001 - The Program Management Group plc (PMG), the UK leader in the emerging multi-project management software market, has appointed Tim Craven as Professional Services Manager. Previously Tim was a customer of PMG, working as Programme Manager at PanCredit Systems Ltd, PMG’s first UK customer in 1997.

Tim will be responsible for PMG’s product implementation team, developing product and service offerings, providing software installation services and managing the customer help desk, providing support for PMG customers as far afield as India.

This appointment of a dedicated professional services manager reflects PMG’s growth in the last six months, from a small technology-led developer to a commercial organisation marketing its Hydra product to multi-national organisations. The company is targeting 100% compound growth per annum over the next 3 years. Headcount at PMG has doubled in this period , with PMG gaining an increasing share of the growing market for collaborative project management tools, which is expected to grow to over $1,300 million by 2003 (according to Collaborative Strategies LLC, May 2000).

Tim has over 15 years experience in project and programme management within the IT industry, having spent eight years with PanCredit Systems. During this time the company grew from 15 to 170 people, cornering the market for lending software.

Tim is married with a young son and lives in Alwoodley, Leeds. He is a keen club golfer and is Member of the Association of Project Managers (MAPM) and of the British Computer Society (MBCS).
