executive vice president and chief financial officer of Corio, Inc. (Nasdaq:
CRIO), a leading enterprise application service provider, has been appointed
to Marimba's board of directors effective 20 July 2001.
Eric Keller has 20 years of experience as a financial executive in
high-growth, technology companies based in Silicon Valley. His business
background encompasses corporate and international finance, acquisitions,
public offerings, intellectual property licensing, and financial information
systems. Corio announced on 10 May 2001 that Mr. Keller would be
transitioning out of his role as executive vice president and chief
financial officer and will, in future, serve Corio in an advisory role.
Before joining Corio, Mr. Keller served as senior vice president and chief
financial officer of Aspect Communications, a leading provider of customer
relationship portals. At Aspect, he built a finance organisation that
supported the company's growth from $200 million to more than $500 million
in revenues over three years. Previously, he had served as chief financial
officer for Ventritex, Inc., a medical device company, and Dionex
Corporation, a scientific instrument manufacturer. In addition to these
executive roles, Eric had broad responsibilities in international finance at
Raychem Corporation and developed business strategies for Fortune 1000
companies as a management consultant for Temple, Barker & Sloane.
Mr. Keller holds a BS degree from Cornell University and an MBA from the
University of California, Berkeley.
