Steve Merry appointed new business development manager

London, July 26 2001 - Projectplace the leading ASP for project
collaboration services in Europe, today announced the appointment of Steve
Merry as Business Development Manager. Steve brings to Projectplace ten
years of international business experience in IT. In particular Steve is
highly experienced in sales and marketing in the Internet services
marketplace. At Projectplace his primary objective will be to develop the
UK Sales function and continue the rapid sales growth.

Merry joins Projectplace from ICL, where he held the position of Business
Manager within eApplications (Projects & Professional Services Division).
ICL are a major designer, builder and operator of IT solutions and services
and it was here that Merry was primarily responsible for the e-Applications
Consultancy business in the North of the UK. Steve was also responsible
business development, aligning service delivery with clients' corporate
strategy and objectives, project management and resource planning.

Prior to this he was the Business Development Manager (UK and Europe) for IS
Integration Ltd, a leading independent UK-owned company who help
organisations to improve their business performance and their service to
customers through effective use of e-business and advanced information

Steve was also a major accounts manager at the Gartner Group. It was here
that he globally managed blue chip clients including ICI plc, Holiday Inn
International, Allied Domecq plc and Astra Zeneca plc.
