What do users think of interactive television ?

Netpoll, Europe's leading qualitative research firm has researched and written the first comprehensive study into user attitudes to iTV.

The report known as 'Hands on TV' will be launched next Thursday 2nd August, in central London.

The comprehensive and indepth research covered seven UK cities and involved interviewing over 50 respondents face to face and studying their iTV behaviour over a period of time. This report looks at all aspects of iTV from the user's perspective.

The report has identified seven types of iTV early adopter groups, some examples of which have been termed Generation I, Armchair Athletes and Silver Sofas.
